We got home 3 1/2 weeks ago. What a trip and a journey it has been. We have learnt a lot about ourselves and each other. We have talked a lot about our family, the future, the present, how we communicate. We always come back to each other.
You get to a point in a relationship where the shininess is wearing off and the true nature of the depth of love is beckoning. The real stuff, we have fun together, we back each other, we talk, we laugh, we eat. We enjoy each other. We know we can travel well together, deal with a teenager, deal with unplanned events, and disagree sometimes.
It’s definitely not all rosy, we are now working through what irritates us and trying to stay connected and at the same time knowing that this is all the game of life. Our Souls know exactly what we are here to learn. We need to go back to that awareness as much as possible, at the same time as feeling all the emotions and feelings that this ‘meat shell’ brings us.
